Ella Gardner (23) rises to the occasion as she looks to pass to Halle Bargen (10) for Superior during their 36-35 win over Hastings St. Cecilia at Superior last Monday. Sadie Cornell (4) is set for a rebound in the corner. Gardner contributed 10 points to the Wildcat offense which score their first win over the Bluehawks since 2001. The Superior High School girls basketball team is in peak form as they extended their consecutive win streak to eight games when they downed Doniphan-Trumbull 50-31, at Doniphan, Friday. Superior visited Deshler Tuesday for a game with the Dragons. Game results were unavailable at press time.
