SHS boys win two straight, then lose

After struggling for the best part of the season, the Superior High School boys basketball team strung together a modest two game win streak with a 40-38 win over Deshler, at Deshler, last Tuesday, and a 52-46 win over Diller-Odell at Diller Friday in Superior. The streak came to an abrupt halt, Monday, when the Wildcats were downed 49-31 by Milford, at Centennial High School, Utica, in the opening round game of the Southern Nebraska Conference Tournament.

It was nip and tuck for Superior when they played Deshler with Superior needing to mount a huge fourth quarter comeback. The Wildcats...
