Hayden Neeman gains back points with a near-fall.

The Superior High School boys and girls wrestling teams competed at the state tournament held at Omaha's CHI Center Thursday through Saturday. The event marked the first time Superior girls competed at the state event. They finished in 60th place, with six points, in the 74 team Class D field. The boys finished in 38th place, with 12 points, in the 54 team Class C field.

Cheyenne Stacy earned six team points in the 115 pound weight bracket when she won two of her three consolation round matches. Carlee Hinz competed in the 135 pound weight class.

Hayden Neeman earned 12 team points with his fifth place finish in the 132 pound weight bracket. Holden McDonald competed in the 120 pound weight bracket. Kyler Boyles qualified as a freshman in the 160 pound weight bracket.

It was Neeman's final appearance as a Wildcat. He qualified for the state event all four years of his Wildcat' wrestling career.
