The Superior High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Thayer Central Invitational at Hebron, Thursday.

The Wildcats were scheduled to compete at Sandy Creek, Tuesday, for the Sandy Creek Invitational. The meet has been postponed because of a threat made against the school.

Several members from both teams were absent because of the state FFA convention.

The girls team finished in ninth place, with 28 points, in the 11 team field of Fairbury, Lincoln Christian, Cross County, Thayer Central, Sutton, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Fillmore Central, Sandy Creek, Harvard and Deshler.

The boys team finished in 11th place with two points. Points are awarded to the first through sixth place finishers in each event.

Sadie Cornell finished in fourth place in the 100 meter dash with her time of 13.77 seconds. Khloe Mundorf took fifth place with her time of 13.82 seconds. Cora Scxhnakenberg recorded a time of 15.37 seconds.

Mundorf had a time of 29.8 seconds for the 200 meter dash. Cornell finished with a time of 29.97 seconds.

Hailey Blecha posted a time of 7:19.30 for the 1600 meter run. She finished in sixth place in the 3200 meter run with her time of 15:31.55.

Mundorf earned the third place points for the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 17.97 seconds.

Cora Schnakenberg had a time of 58.08 seconds for the 300 meter hurdles.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Atlee Kobza, Jordan Duncan, Mundorf and Cornell posted a third place finished with their time of 56.13 seconds.

Tova Lestander had a toss of 24' in the shot put.

Kobza scored a fourth place finish in the discus with her throw of 95'3". Lestander had a throw of 51'8"

Schnakenberg cleared the bar at 4'4" in the high jump.

Cornell collected a fourth place finish in the long jump with her leap of 15'1.5".

Aiden Humphries had a time of 12.75 seconds in the 100 meter dash. Cristian Avalos finished with a time of 13.24 seconds.

EJ Uvslokk posted a time of 27.18 seconds for the 200 meter dash. Avalos crossed the finish line at 25.24 seconds.

Aaron Allgood was in with a time of 59.89 seconds for the 400 meter dash.

Lincoln Sander had a time of 2:29.59 for the 800 meter dash. Tanner Theis listed a 2:29.64 time for the event.

Kyler Boyles covered the 110 meter high hurdles distance in 21 seconds. Humphries had a time of 21.01 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Boyles, Humphries, Allgood and Dayne Clark finished in sixth place with their time of 4:08.91.

Luke Jameson registered a toss of 39'10" for the shot put. Chris Chavez had a toss of 31'4". Riedar Vier landed a toss of 29'.

Jameson took fifth place in the discus with his throw of 119'3". Clark had a throw of 101'5". Henry Griljava had a best throw of 99'9".

Uvslokk cleared 5'6" for the high jump.

Allgood produced a leap of 16'10" in the long jump. Sander covered 16'6". Boyles landed a leap of 15'3".
