Lawrence American Legion member, Robert Kotinek, salutes the grave site of Lawrence native, Chester Kohmetscher, a Korean Was veteran, during Memorial Day Ceremonies Monday at the Sacred Heart cemetery east of Lawrence. The Lawrence American Legion, the Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion cooperate in providing Services at five area cemeteries. Helping provide the ceremony this year were: Commander, Paul Dale; Chaplain, Walter Buescher; acting Adjutant Robert Kotinek; Legion Auxiliary representative, Connie Dale; Color Guard Commander, Lyle Kohmetscher and the Firing Squad.
