The large number of girl golfers who turned out for the Superior Country Club 2023 Youth Golf Camp last Tuesday and Wednesday. It bodes well for the future of the Superior High School girls golf team. The Superior Country Club hosted the annual Superior Youth Golf Camp last Tuesday and Wednesday.
The weather cooperated for the 36 attendees. Participants at the camp came from the age groups of five through 13 years of age in the Superior school system as well as from Geneva.
The first day of camp was dedicated to the basics of rules of golf scoring and club selection. The campers then worked on their driving, chipping and putting skills.
Day two was dedicated to the driving, chipping and putting contests for boys and girls in age brackets of five to seven years, eight to 10 years and 11 to 1...
