Meili Ost competed at the USATF Junior Olympics Region 9 track meet in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on July 8, 2023.  Meili is a member of the Kansas Flyers track team based out of Minneapolis, Kansas. The Kansas Flyers track team includes girls from all over the state of Kansas, ages 8 to 18.

Meili competed in the 13 to 14 age group 800 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay. Meili ran a personal best 2:30.96 in the 800 meter run earning a second place finish.
