Schoneberg competes in Kansas rodeo circuit

Rodeo's for the state of Kansas

Hadley Schoneberg, age 12, Edgar, Nebraska, qualified for the 18th National Junior High Finals Rodeo located at Perry, Georgia, starting June 18 and running until June 24. He qualified in team roping on the head side riding his mare, Jessie. His partner is Cody Hoefer from Benton, Kansas. The team's first two runs will take place Tuesday and Thursday. Hadley will also be shooting her .22 light rifle on Tuesday. This competition is when a contestant shoots at a target 50 yards away in three different positions.

Hadley Schronberg (12), Edgar, competes in junior high team roping with his partner, Cody Hoefer, in the Kansas rodeo circuit. The pair are competing at the national junior high rodeo finals in Georgia.

Hadley will be a seventh grader at Sandy Creek. He looks forward to playing basketball and football and joining FFA. Because of the distances for the rodeos, he has had to miss a number of days of school, but is thankful his teachers are supportive and encourage him along the way.

He appreciates his parents support and for providing the horses, his brothers for encouraging and practicing with him. Hadley can't wait to see them growing in their rodeo career.

His grandparents, Chris and Teresa Meyer, Pat and Dale Frahm, Carol Meyer, and Suzie Schoneberg and also, Priefert have been a great sponsor and has shown me guidance.

He thanks Colt Pope, for keeping the livestock fed and cared for at home. It takes a lot of people to help make Hadley's dreams come true and to keep reaching his goals. He said, " I want to make sure they know how thankful I am for them!"
