L-N volleyball set to open season

The Lawrence-Nelson Raider volleyball team started the season off with a scrimmage on Saturday. The team played in Kenesaw on Monday, and will play in Axtell on Saturday.
The Lawrence-Nelson High School volleyball team will line up on the court for their season opener Saturday with the Axtell Invitational at Axtell. This is a four team affair.
The roster has several returning players from last season's 15-17 team.
Sydney Biltoft and Claire Himmelberg and Jessica Sole are the senior class team members. Onja Meyers, Brooklyn Combs, Valentina Koehler, Hanna Skinner, Josie Hajny represent the junior class.
There are no sophomores on the team.
Freshmen class members are Natalia Wehrman, Paige Huston, Hadley Ostdiek and Epiphanae Lowery.
Curt Bolte serves as head coach. Dina Hoelting is the assistant coach. Ella Skinner is the student manager.
Raider home games will be played at Lawrence this season.
