SHS football falls to L-N 56-18 in two-day game

It was Friday night lightning at Superior's Brodstone Memorial Field which provided the excitement. Kickoff had been moved from the scheduled 7 p.m to 8 p.m. because of extreme heat conditions. Coaches, school administrators and officials huddled before the game as another threat from Mother Nature appeared in the form of thunderstorms moving in the direction of Superior.

A few rain drops were falling as the Wildcats received the opening kickoff but lightning could be observed in the distance. Lawrence-Nelson jumped out to a quick 12-0 lead in the first quarter. A brilliant explosion of nature...
