RHS football downs St. John's

The Rock Hills High School football season opened the season with wild 32-30 win over St. John’s-Tipton at Mankato Friday. The win marked the first time since 2018 that the Grizzlies emerged victorious from the game with their arch-rival and nemesis.

Isaiah Ridgeway carried the ball 22 times for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Cooper McDill nabbed two interceptions for the defense. Additional statistics were unavailable at press time.

The Grizzlies travel to Kensington, Friday, to take on Thunder Ridge who dropped their season opener to Alma 74-52. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m....
