The Superior High School cross country team hosted the Superior Invitational meet run over the Superior Country Club course last Tuesday.

Runners from Fillmore Central, McCool Junction, Grand Island Central Catholic, Exeter-Millligan-Friend, Hastings St. Cecilia, Silver Lake, Blue Hill, Sandy Creek, Red Cloud, Deshler, Fairbury and Lawrence-Nelson competed.

The Superior boys team finished in fifth place in the eight team boys field with 86 points. Superior had no runners in the female division. There were 70 runners in the boys field while the girls field had 29 entered.
