Roger Allen Finke, 77, of Deshler, died Sept. 9, 2023, at Lakeview Living in Firth. The son of William and Edna (Weiss), Finke was born at Kiowa, Nebraska, Jan. 23, 1946.

Roger attended Bethlehem Lutheran School rural Kiowa and St. Peter Lutheran in Deshler and graduated from Deshler High School with the Class of 1964.

After graduation, Roger went to Texas and worked for Texas Instrument. Returning home, he worked for Deshler Roller Mills and Ray Mausoleum until they closed. He then worked for Reinke Manufacturing in Deshler until his retirement. Hoping to stay busy. he helped Tyler Fangmeyer...
