The Lawrence-Nelson High School boys and girls cross country runners competed at the Fairbury Invitational Thursday. Neither group had the minimum of four runners to earn a team score.

Sawyer Cox recorded a time of 23:24.95 for the 5 K course run. He finished in 65th place in the 99 runner field. He was competing against runners from Class B, C and D schools.

Kennedy Beale was in 46th place in the girls 5 K run. The field consisted of 65 runners from 17 schools.

Jaxon Vaughn ran the 2400 meter middle school race in 9:19.39 for 34th place in the 81 runner field. Anthony Beale finished in 10:01....
