RHHS volleyball

It was another busy week for the Rock Hills volleyball team.

The Grizzlies played a triangular match at Tescott last Tuesday. They returned to Tescott Saturday for the Tescott Tournament where they played five matches. The Grizzlies went 3-4 for the matches.

They downed Glasco in two sets, 25-11 and 25-12 at Tescott Tuesday. They handed host Tescott a two-set sweep, 25-16 and 25-17.

They downed Lincoln in two sets, 25-11 and 25-10 in their opening game at the Tescott tourney Saturday. The Bennington Bulldogs swept Rock Hills in two sets, 12-25 and 15-15. Sylvan-Lucas handed Rock Hills a two-set, 17-25 and 21-25, loss. The Grizzlies defeated Tescott in two sets. The Eli-Saline Cardinals downed Rock Hills in two sets, 12-25 and 18-25.

The Grizzlies hosted a triangular match with Lakeside and St. John’s-Tipton at Mankato Tuesday. Match results were unavailable at press time.

Halle Mizner listed eight kills against Glasco. Grace Ayers, Alexandria Fogo, Faith Reinert and Paige Reinert recorded one kill each. Dacey Beck launched two aces. Reinert and Brittany Simmelink each scored with an ace.

Ally Beck led the diggers with 11. Mizner listed seven digs. Reinert added five digs. Zadina posted four digs for the match. D. Beck finished with three digs. Ayers and Simmelink found two digs each. Fogo and Alivia Lindberg had a dig apiece.

Mizner led the kill gang against Tescott with 13. Zadina kicked in two kills. D. Beck, Fogo and Reinert had a kill each.

It was aces high for Simmelink as she held five for the match. D. Beck and Reinert accounted for two aces each. A. Beck scored with an ace.

A. Beck swept up 25 digs. D. Beck came through with nine digs. Mizner and Simmelink settled up with eight digs each.

Mizner posted seven kills against Lincoln. Fogo and Mizner pounded away for two kills apiece. A. Beck, Simmelink and Zadina had a kill apiece.

Simmelink ripped through three aces. Zadina fired through two aces. Ayers and A. Beck each scored with an ace.

A. Beck landed 13 digs. Reinert added 10 digs. Mizner handled nine digs. Teegan Meier joined in with seven digs. Simmelink contributed six digs. Zadina looped up three digs. Ayers had a dig.

Mizner put up six kills against Bennington. Savannah Coil and Meier were good for two kills each.

A. Beck scored with two aces.

A. Beck amassed 14 digs for the match. Mizner dropped in for 12 digs. D. Beck swept away nine digs. Fogo, Meier and Simmelink collected four digs apiece. Ayers had a dig.

Mizner netted eight kills against Sylvan-Lucas.

Simmelink ripped through two aces. D. Beck scored with an ace.

A. Beck used her prairie dog skills for 27 digs. Simmelink popped up 11 digs. Reinert came through with nine digs. Mizner brought five digs to the table. Meier put away four digs. D. Beck kept three digs. Zadina had a dig.

Mizner credited four kills against Tescott. Reinert added two kills. Ayers, Coil and Zadina had a kill each.

Simmelink ziplined seven aces. Mizner, Reinert and Zadina each scored with an ace.

A. Beck shoveled up 11 digs. Simmelink anted up four digs. Reinert set up three digs. D. Beck kept two digs. Meier. Mizner and Zadina had a dig each.

Mizner topped the kill chart against Eli-Saline with seven. Ayers, Coil and Zadina added one kill apiece.

Mizner scored two aces.

A. Beck was the top digger with 18. Simmelink donated 10 digs. Ayers and Mizner came through with nine digs each. D. Beck nabbed eight digs. Meier and Zadina kicked in two digs each.

The Grizzlies travel to Scandia for match with Pike Valley Tuesday.
