The Lawrence-Nelson High School boys basketball team looks to improve upon last season’s 11-11 record with the return of several more experienced players.

The Raiders open the season Friday at Nelson where they host Red Cloud. Arapahoe visits Nelson Saturday.

Wyatt Baker and Connor Janda return as seniors.

Aidan Zikmund, Carter Griffis, Riley Cannaday, Sawyer Cox and Carson Vaughn represent the junior class.

Cody Funk is the sole sophomore on the team.

Jace Hoelting, Jackson Williams, and Caleb Griffis are the freshman class team members.
