Rock Hills boys played Ellis in Mankato last Tuesday evening for the last game of the season before winter break. Ellis beat the Grizzlies 59 to 44.
Cooper McDill lead the Grizzlies in scoring with 21 points. Four of McDills baskets were three pointers. He was followed by Eli Whelchel who scored 11 points. Others adding to the score for the Grizzlies were Ethan Wirth with 5; Eli Vance with 3; Tristyn Reynolds and Justin Luong each with one point.
Rock Hills outscored Ellis in the fourth quarter 14 to 9. However, it was too late to recover after Ellis outscored Rock Hills 12 to 8 in the first quarter and 19 to 11 in both the second and third quarters.
