The Lawrence-Nelson boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Franklin Invitational, at Franklin, last Tuesday.

The girls team finished in eighth place, with 27 points, in the 12 team field of Loomis, Deshler, Silver Lake, Shelton, Gibbon, Wilcox-Hildreth, Franklin, Red Cloud, Heartland Lutheran, Hi-Line and Blue Hill. The boys team finished in 12th place with nine points.

Natalie Wehrman, Hadley Ostdiek and Danyelle Church failed to advance from the preliminary heats of the 100 meter dash.

Paige Huston took seventh place in the 200 meter dash with her time of 32.79. Hanna Skinner and Wehrman also competed.

Kynnedy Beale ran the 400 meter dash

K. Beale and Hailey Beale competed in the 800 meter run.

Jessica Sole claimed second place in the 1600 meter run with her time of 7:00.84. She finished second in the 3200 meter run with her time of 15:0618.

Sydney Biltoft secured second place in the 300 meter hurdles with her time of 52.17 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Biltoft, Huston, Skinner and Wehrman finished sixth with their time of 58.28 seconds.

Church competed in the shot put. Ostdiek and Church participated in the discus throw.

Skinner and Harley Beale took part in the long jump.

Huston competed in the long jump.

Cody Funk, Ace Wulf, Caleb Griffis and Brandt McLaughlin failed to advance from the preliminary heats of the 100 and 200 meter dashes.

Jackson Williams and Aaron Church competed in the 400 meter dash.

Jace Hoelting and Aaron Church took part in the 800 meter run.

Leslie Corman entered the 1600 meter run.

Corman was eighth in the 3200 meter run with his time of 15:19.56. Gus Harrison also ran the event.

Funk competed in the 300 meter hurdles.

Funk, Williams, Wulf and Hoelting ran the 4 x 400 meter relay.

Griffis and Harrison competed in the discus throw. Funk earned sixth place in the long jump with his leap of 18’2.5’. Willams also competed.

Willaims earned second place points in the triple jump with his distance of 37’2”. Hoelting also competed.

The Raiders compete at the Del Wicks Invitational at deshler today (Thursday). They travel to Superior Tuesday for the Superior Invitational.
