233 Students enrolled at L/N for new school year

August 26, 2021

“Impressed . . . “

That was the first word from Mr. Dan Kennedy, L-N principal, when asked about the first week of school last week. Mr. Kennedy is a first year administrator for the L-N school, moving here from a somewhat similar school in rural Colorado. “For the first week of school, everything went very well, I’m impressed,” he added. All the teachers were ready and it seemed all the students were equally eager to get started, was the general impression he received from all around the school facilities.

Another teacher said there were a few hectic moments, some with the students and some with the teachers, but nothing that was out of the ordinary year-in and year-out.

Mr. Kennedy noted there were 233 students enrolled for the first day of school.

The breakdown of student enrollment by grade is as follows:

Pre-school: 38

K: 7 3rd: 12

1st: 19 4th: 16
