Raeoma Marie Boren, 94, the daughter of Mary (Gehley) and Ray “Barb” Etherton, was born May 17, 1927, at Franklin, Neb. She died Monday, Oct. 4, at the Heritage Care Center in Red Cloud, Neb.

Raeoma grew up in the Guide Rock community and received her formal education attending the Guide Rock schools. Following her graduationshe was united in marriage with William Alan Boren on Feb. 2, 1947. They made their home on the farm south of Red Cloud until retiring and moving into town to live.
