The results for the Thayer Central Invitational in last weeks edition of The Superior Express were inadvertently from the 2021 meet. The statistic web site had not yet been updated when we got the stats.

Superior competed at the Thayer Central Invitational at Hebron, Thursday, March 31.

The Superior girls team finished in third place with 72.5 points. The boys team held third place with 72 points.

Ella Gardner finished in second place in the girls 100 meter dash with her time of 13.09 seconds. Sadie Cornell was in fifth place with her time of 13.83 seconds. Katie Engelhardt finished with a time of 16.91 seconds.

E. Gardner was the first place finisher in the 200 meter dash with her time of 25.65 seconds. Halle Bargen finished with a time of 29.23 seconds.

Laci Kirchhoff finished the 400 meter dash with the time of 1:12.19.

Faith Butler was in seventh place in the 800 meter run with her time of 2:48.88. Rebecca Tadeo-Perez closed out with a time of 3:53.28.

Brooklyn Grabast recorded a time of 7:06.28 for the 1600 meter run. Jada Hemion listed a time of 7:12. 38.

Mikynzie Hansen finished the 100 meter hurdles in 20.57 seconds.

Madison Heusinkvelt was in sixth place in the 300 meter hurdles with her time of 54.31 seconds. Sadie Rempel finished in 57.69 seconds. Cayce Barry crossed the finish line at 1:08.36.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Rempel, Bargen, Heusinkvelt and Lilly Edwards was disqualified.

Shayla Meyer earned the second place points for the shot put with her toss of 36'. Heusinkvelt recorded a toss of 30'1". Edwards had a toss of 27'10".

Meyer landed first place in the discus with her throw of 136'9". Heusinkvelt had a throw of 102'8". Mia Gardner had a throw of 71'7".

Rempel was on top of the pole vault field with her bar clearing effort of 10'.

E. Gardner took first place points for the long jump with her leap 17'10.5'. Sadie Cornell held third place with her jump of 15'5.75". Bargen listed a jump of 13'5.75".

Hansen covered 26"11.5" for the triple jump.

Matt Colgrove finished in sixth place in the boys 100 meter dash with his time of 12.23 seconds. Aiden Humphries was in eighth place with the time of 12.27 seconds. Owen Perrie posted a time of 14.48 seconds.

Dane Miller picked up the second place points in the 200 meter dash with his time of 22.74 seconds. Gavin Ekstein held fifth place with his time of 23.97 seconds. Luke Jameson listed a time of 28.45 seconds.

Jacob Meyer competed in the 400 meter dash with his time of 1:00.11. Dylan Edwards put up a time of 1:07.86. Thomas Mathis had a time of 1:113.4.

Brett Miller has a time of 2:23.86 for the 800 meter run. Tanner Theis had a time of 2:28.32.

Miller listed a time of 5:41.21 for the 1600 meter run. Derek Kirchhoff finished the event in 6:38.27.

Hunter Mazzulla recorded a third place finish in the 3200 meter run with his time of 11:25.66.

Miller took top honors in the 110 meter hurdles with his time of 15.46 seconds.

Humphries was in fourth place in the 300 meter hurdles with his time of 45.93 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Meyer, Ekstein Humphries and D. Miller registered a first place finish with their time of 45.54 seconds.

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Theis, Colgrove, Clayton Morris and Mazzulla were in sixth place with their time of 4:00.78.

Seth Schnakenberg was in second place in the shot put with his toss of 50'5". Henry Griljava had a toss of 35'2.25".

Schnakenberg held down second place in the discus with his throw of 140'7". Payton Christiancy was in seventh place with his throw of 114'5". Jameson had a throw of 99'6".

Morris nailed down first place in the pole vault with his bar clearing effort of 11'6".

Ekstein was in fourth place in the long jump with his leap of 18'11.75". Meyer was in eighth place with his jump of 18'4". Colgrove had a jump of 17'5.75".

Edwards competed in the triple jump covering 33'.5". Mathis covered 29'4".

The teams competed at the Sandy Creek Invitational last Tuesday. The girls team took second place with 112.5 points. The boys team recorded a second place finish with 104 points,

Bargen took seventh place in the 100 meter dash with her time of 15.17 seconds. Englehardt posted a time of 17.39 seconds. Alicia Temes had a time of 18.38 seconds.

E. Gardner finished in second place in the 200 meter dash with her time of 27.35 seconds. L. Kirchhoff finished with a time of 30.15 seconds.

Hansen recorded a time of 1:24.36 in the 400 meter dash. Tadeo-Perez finished in 1:29.01.

Butler was the seventh place finisher in the 800 meter run with her time of 2:47.37.

Grabast was in eighth place in the 1600 meter run with her time of 7:04.36. Hemion owned a time of 7:15 for the event.

Hailey Blecha nailed a sixth place finish in the 3200 meter run with her time of 15.52.95. Rempel landed fourth place in the 100 meter hurdles with her time of 19.51 seconds. Hansen listed a time of 22.83 seconds.

Heusinkvelt took fourth place in the 300 meter hurdles with her time of 53.64 seconds. Barry had a time of 1:03.93.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team returned a first place finish with their time of 53.22 seconds.

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of L. Kirchhoff, Atlee Kobza, Grabast and Edwards finished in sixth place with their time of 4:50.94.

Meyer finished in second place in the shot put with her toss of 36'4". Heusinkvelt was in seventh place with her toss of 29'8". Edwards had a best toss of 28'5.5".

Meyer held the top spot in the discus with her throw of 140'7". M. Gardener had a throw of 79'6".

Kirchhoff landed the second place points in the high jump at 4'8". Barry had a jump of 4'4".

Rempel topped the pole vault field with her leap of 9'6". Butler added the third place points with her 6'6" effort. Engelhardt was in seventh place with her bar clearing 5'6" jump.

E. Gardner nailed a first place finish in the long jump at 17'9.75". Bargen turned in a leap of 13'4".

E. Gardner added another first place finish as she led the field in the triple jump covering 36'6.75". Hansen was in seventh place with her 27'9.75 effort.

Ekstein filled in the fifth place spot in the 100 meter dash with his time of 12.39 seconds. Meyer was in eighth place with his time 13.04 seconds. Cristian Avalos had time of 13.23 seconds.

Colgrove came in seventh in the 200 meter dash with his time of 25.83 seconds. Morris turned in a time of 26.51 seconds. Jameson was in at 28.4 seconds.

Miller took fifth place points in the 800 meter run with his time of 2:22.02. Theis was across the finish line in 2:35.26.

Mazzulla was in third place in the 1600 meter run with his time of 5:22.66. Miller had a time of 5:36.33. D. Kirchhoff was finished in 6:48.43.

Mazzulla was in the third place slot of the 3200 meter run with his time of 11:38.37.

D. Miller landed a second place finish in the 1120 meter hurdles with his time of 16.14 seconds.

D. Miller was on top of the 300 meter hurdle field with his time of 41.77 seconds. Humphries crossed the finish line in second place with his time of 46.12 seconds.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Avalos, Humphries, Theis and Meyer collected fourth place points with their time of 49.78 seconds.

Ella Gardner heads for a second place finish in the 200 meter dash for Superior at the Sandy Creek Invitational. She earned first place points in the long and triple jump events.

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of D. Miller, Colgrove, Ekstein and Meyer gathered up the second place points with their time of 3:42.78.

Schnakenberg held down second place in the shot put with his toss of 48'5.5". Christaincy was in sixth place with his heave of 41'10.5". Griljava had a best throw of 33'7".

Schnakenberg was in the second slot in the discus with his throw of 142'8".

Christiancy finished in sixth place with his throw of 114'4". Jameson had a throw of 93'7".

Morris was atop the pole vault chart with his height of 10'.

Ekstein took seventh place in the long jump with a leap of 18'10". Avalos was at 15"7".

Meyer owned second place in the triple jump with his 38'11.5" distance. D. Edwards put up a 31'10.5 " effort. Mathis covered 30'.

The team travels to Deshler today (Thursday) for the Del Wicks Invitational.

The Wildcats host the Superior Invitational Tuesday at the Superior Community Track.
