The Rock Hills High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Kaser Relays at Osborne Friday.

Teams from Southern Cloud, Logan, Natoma, Northern Valley, Osborne, Palco, Stockton, Sylvan-Lucas, Thunder Ridge, Lakeside, Lincoln, St. John’s, Tipton Catholic and Ellis.

The girls team finished in fourth place with 48.5 points. The boys were also in fourth place with 49 points

The girls team continues to establish new school records.

Bethany Simmelink set a school record for the girls 100 meter dash with her time of 12.6 seconds. She finished in third place. Halle Mizner followed in fourth place with her time of 13.3 seconds. Grace Ayers also competed.

B. Simmelink took second place in the 200 meter dash with her time of 27.9 seconds. Chloe Rothchild also ran the event.

Savannah Coil earned the fifth place points in the 400 meter dash with her time of 1:08.7. Rothchild also participated.

Hannah Simmelink and Alivia Lindberg took part in the 800 meter run.

H. Simmelink, Lindberg and Peyton Zadina all took part in the 1600 meter run.

Zadina took eighth place in the 3200 meter run with her time of 14:23.1.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Mizner, Coil, Ayers and B. Simmelink took third place with their time of 54.3 seconds.

The 4 x 800 meter relay team of B. Simmelink, Mizner, Lindberg and H. Simmelink reestablished the school record for the third time this season with their second place time of 11:15.6.

Faith Reinert finished in sixth place in the shot put with her toss of 30’1.75”. Joyce Cady also participated.

Cady and Reinert took part in the discus throw.

Carsyn Vizner and Reinert took part in the javelin throw,

Mizner earned fourth place in the high jump with her height of 4’10”.

Ayers brought home second place points in the long jump with her 15’.5” effort.

Coil held down fifth place in the triple jump with her combined distance of 29’11.25”.

Isaiah Ridgeway held second place in the boys 100 meter dash with his time of 11.6 seconds. Cam Ward and Kaden Wurm also competed.

Spencer Lindberg too sixth place in the 400 meter dash with his time of 59.3 seconds.

Cooper McDill was in third place in the 800 meter run with his time of 2:14.5 seconds. Justin Luong finished in seventh place with his time of 2:20.3. Kobi Bowers also ran the event.

Trystyn Reynolds secured second place in the 1600 meter run with his time 4:57.3. Luong was in seventh place in the 1600 meter run with his time of 5:32.3.

S. Lindberg ran the 300 meter hurdles.

The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Reynolds, Luong, McDill an d Bowers crossed the finish line in first place with their time of 8:43.4.

Eli Whelchel, Mason McMains and Aaron Underwood competed in the shot put.

McMains, Underwood and Wurm took part in the discus throw.

Whelchel and Ridgeway took part in the javelin throw,

Cam Ward secured third place in the high jump with his height of 5’6”.

Nate Meyers earned top honors in the long jump with his first place leap of 20’7.5”.

The Grizzlies travel to Beloit Friday for the Beloit Relays. The teams visit Tescott Tuesday for the Tescott Invitational.
