USD 107 Board of Education hold special meeting

 


The Rock Hills Board of Education held a special meeting Tuesday, March 28. Those present were Kenny Mizner, Marc Grout, Brenden Wirth, Wayne Frost, Justin Angleton, Brandon Hollerich (ZOOM), Bobi Fogo, Gary Sechrist and Janet Higer.

The board went into executive session with Mr. Sechrist to discuss superintendent interviews.

When the open meeting resumed, Mr. Boley and Mrs. Bozarth arrived at the meeting.

Mr. Sechrist discussed general interview protocol with the board and the clerk.

The board went into executive session again to discuss employee contracts. When the open meeting resumed, the board approved to offer an elementary teaching contract to Heather Garst for the 23-24 school year.

Two executive sessions were held to discuss superintendent interviews.

The board discussed the superintendent interview process.

Another executive session was held with invitation to Mr. Boley to discuss employer-employee negotiations. After the session, the board meeting was adjourned.

The next regular meeting of the board will be at 7 p.m., Monday in the board room of the district office.
